On a beautiful day September 10, a crowd of about 40 people gathered to enjoy jazz, food and friends at Eileen's home. The afternoon was so successful that we're planning future home-based concerts. Want to be notified? Contact Eileen here.

Eileen played Hattie in the new Short North Stage production of Follies by Stephen Sondheim, directed by Kevin Mcguire. Hattie sings the iconic song "Broadway Baby" in the show. The show opened to rave reviews and sold-out houses at every show. This new professional theater company is renovating the historic Garden Theater in the Short North near 5th and High.
Make Me Over Radio Response Jim Spencer, Deejay at KHCA Radio in Manhatten Kansas called the other day and left this message:
"I have been playing your Make Me Over, over and over and over. My listeners just love it, absolutely, and I see that you have a CD called MakeOver. I’m excited. If you could send a copy to the station, we would just love you dearly for it ...you’ve got plenty of potential. I had so many calls, things just lit up. People wanting to know if there’s more songs coming.
Thank you for Make Me Over, I’m an ex drug addict and I’ve been through a lot in my life. And you just touched me."

Singing in Rome! While visiting Italy, I sang at Gregory's Jazz Club in Rome. I sang three songs with the band at a Tuesday night jam session. Boy, those Italians certainly stay up late! It was about 2:00 in the morning by the time we got back to our hotel. Now I've sung at clubs in Paris, Rome and New York.... and of course Toledo Ohio and Columbus .
